Daniel Condon has worked with several hundred non profit organizations and schools since the early 90’s.  He was selected as one of twenty young visionaries of 1996 by Who Cares Magazine, was named one of forty under 40 by the Boulder County Business Report in 2010, received the inaugural CES Small Schools ‘Commitment to Equity’ award and most recently received the 2010 Governor’s Commission on Community Service “Still Getting Things Done” award.  He serves as a faculty member with Public Allies, Inc.’s Leadership Practice in collaboration with Northwestern University’s Asset Based Community Development Institute.  He serves as a faculty member for the National Truancy Intervention & Prevention Center through the National Center for School Engagement.  Recently he co-authored a chapter entitled “A Schoolwide Model for Student Voice in Curriculum Development and Teacher Preparation” for Learning from the Student’s Perspective:  A Methods Sourcebook for Effective Teaching  and shared his expertise with Asset Based Community Development in Schools and is featured in  Small Schools, Big Ideas: The Essential Guide to Successful School Transformation.  He is a Critical Friends Group Coach through the National School Reform Faculty.  He also serves as a grant reviewer for the Department of Education and the Corporation for National & Community Service.  He served as the co-chair of the Philanthropy & Social Committee of Boulder’s 2140.    Currently he is the Associate Director of Professional Development at the Eagle Rock School & Professional Development Center, a nonprofit subsidiary of the American Honda Motor Company.  He resides in Boulder, Colorado.
